If you purchased NoteDex via AppSumo please follow these instructions. You will have received an email from AppSumo with a registration activation code.
1) Login at https://notedex.app
Use the account login you wish to use going forward as you sign into the system this first time. Once you login it will show you have started a trial account and this account will work for 7 days.
2) Next, click this link: https://notedex.app/appsumo
The page will look like this
Copy and paste the registration code into the box that says 'ENTER CODE'. Make sure there are no spaces at the end if you copy/paste. This can often happen and the code might not seem to work. Best to retype the code in the box if you have any problems.
Once you have entered the Code click REDEEM.
NoteDex will now be registered! You can also use NoteDex on any of your other devices. Just make sure to always use the same login otherwise NoteDex will think you are a new unregistered user.
